I am still waiting for the final account from One Solution but by my reckoning the auction raised nearly £30,000. Of this £25,000 was raised on the night and a further £5000 the following week. This is a great result and our thanks go out first and foremost to all the artists and friends whose generosity in donating work made the auction possible. We also thank all the buyers who turned up on on the night and bought the work, and of course Ken Anderson at One Solution and his staff who worked so hard to create a wonderful event  helping the auction run smoothly and for covering all costs.

Our auctioneer Alistair Logan was amazing, he kept the fast pace and enthusiasm going with his banter and sold over 100 of the 123 art works. The artists work which did not reach reserve we hope to include in an exhibition in 2012 in Dundee or Edinburgh if a venue can be found and Louise will contact those concerned in the next week or so to see if this is okay.
